Boasting a crisp OLED display and 50 Hz frame rate, the Pulsar Apex 2-4×42 XD50 Thermal Riflescope delivers flawless target recognition of fast-moving objects as much as 1,400 yards. Its thermal core resolution of 384×288 captures maximum thermal energy efficiently for a more detailed “white hot” and “black hot” symbol. Long-distance viewing is made imaginable by the continual digital zoom for a longer range of magnification. The Apex XD50 is designed with a sophisticated digital zoom picture-in-picture feature, which displays a magnified picture of the reticle’s aiming point on the most sensible of the screen. This magnified picture of the reticle is perfect for precision aiming whilst the peripherals of the display care for the bottom magnification for a large field of view, for fast, consecutive follow-up shots. The only-shot zeroing and freeze serve as takes a picture of the objective to briefly zero the crosshairs to the firearm’s point of affect. The device includes 3 operating modes (Rocks, Forest and Identification) for enhanced contrast, significantly bettering rendering of hot object main points. Users can make a choice from the automated, manual or semi-automatic calibration modes, which calibrates the lens in just 1 to 2 seconds.
