Crock Pot Teriyaki Venison

Getting tired of eating venison chili, burgers, and steaks? Spice things up with this easy slow cooker venison teriyaki recipe.

Ingredients:

1 ½ – 2 pound venison roast

1 cup brown sugar

⅓ cup apple cider

⅓ cup soy sauce

3 tbsp cold water

2 tbsp cornstarch

Instructions:

Cut venison into 3-4 pieces, rub with brown sugar, then place in crock pot. Add apple juice and soy sauce. Cook until tender (about 6 hours on Low). Remove venison from crockpot and replace the lid. Wait 15 minute then strain the dripping into a bowl then add the liquid back to the crockpot. In another bowl mix the cornstarch and water. Pour the mixture into the crock pot and stir until it’s even combine. Replace lid and cook on High for 15 minute or until the sauce has thicken. Pour sauce over meat and serve.
